80s Rock Music Videos
How much does the pop/rock professional music world still use music videos?
During the 80s, 90s, and very early ’00’s, I remember music videos being a huge part of the music scene, along with many other ways for artists to express themselves.
In todays musical world, with the explosion of the internet and with MTV playing more reality shows than anything music, are music videos still widely made? Are they still popular as a powerful and influential art form as theyve always been? If so, I certainly don’t see many on tv (except the ‘classics’ channels), so where are they(and don’t say youtube)?
Most singles have music videos. I don’t have TV, so I don’t about channels that show music videos. I know MTV doesn’t really play much music. I know you said not to say it, but I watch them on youtube.
